What is Charms?

Charms is a tool used by the directors and the Boosters to communicate with parents and students in all areas of the band program. It is used to keep track of band students’ and parents’ email addresses and phone numbers, as well as managing program fees.

It is NOT connected to the WDMCS Infinite Campus system so any email/phone number changes need to be entered into Charms AND Infinite Campus.

Please make sure the contact information in Charms is correct. To receive the occasional text message (usually related to last-minute changes in schedule, weather cancellations, etc.), enter your cell phone number.

To enter Charms in a web browser, visit http://charms.valleybands.org

The first time you enter Charms, your Student Area Password is your student’s WDMCS student ID. After you’ve logged in for the first time, you’ll be prompted to change your Student Area Password. The account has ONE password so the parent(s) and student will both need to know it.

***If you need to reset your Charms password, email treasurer@valleybands.org. It can be reset to your student’s WDMCS ID number.***

Click the blue UPDATE INFO icon to change any of your information and click the green UPDATE button when finished. The most important fields are:

  • Student cell phone.
  • Student email.
  • Parent(s) cell phone.
  • Parent(s) email.
