Concert Band Uniforms
All
Valley Symphony Band, Concert Band and VSW band members will be
issued concert uniforms to be worn at concerts and contests as
instructed by the directors.
The following concert attire will be issued:

Boys:
Tuxedo coat and pants, white tuxedo shirt, black tuxedo shirt studs
(for buttons), black cummerbund and black tie.

Girls:
Black ankle length formal skirt and black blouse.
Students need to provide:

Boys:
Black
dress shoes and black socks.

Girls:
Black
dress shoes (flats or heels,
preferably closed toe).
Small earrings (no dangles) may be worn
with the uniform.
The uniforms will be assigned to each student
and stored in a garment bag with his/her name on it.
Students will be responsible to keep
uniforms clean (see care instructions) and cared for at home until
after the final spring concert.
Any
questions regarding concert uniforms may be directed to any of the
uniform volunteers who are listed in the directory at the end of
this newsletter.
Uniform Care
Students
are responsible for having their uniforms cleaned as needed.
Uniforms are to be drycleaned
only. At the end of the
season, students will be responsible for having their uniforms
professionally drycleaned. This is required for health
purposes. When the uniform is returned to school, please leave it in
the cleaner bag with tags attached to indicate that it was cleaned
and return it in the black Valley garment bag.
Please make sure the
student’s name is on the bag for identification purposes.
EACH
STUDENT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL PARTS OF HIS/HER UNIFORM. If any part
of a uniform is not returned or is returned damaged, the following
replacement costs will be assessed:
